I forgot my password. How can I reset it to a new password?

If you have forgot your password to your Simple URL Shortener account and therefore need to to reset it to new password then just follow this link:

if you do have not receive your email with the password reset link within a few minutes in your your email providers inbox then please remember to check your spam inbox because emails sometimes can end up there even if the email isn’t a spam email.

How can I change my email address?

You can change your email address in your user dashboard by hovering your mouse on the upper right corner in your Simple URL Shortener user account and then click on “profile”:

Click on the right menu → Settings → “Change email” and enter a new email address in the “new email” field and confirm it by adding your new email to the second filed. After that click “Submit”

Check your spam inbox at your email provider if you do not receive a confirmation email from us!

Where in my dashboard can I delete my account?

Currently at this time you cannot unfortunately delete or pause your account yourself from the user dashboard. If you like to have your account deleted then just simply open a ticket at our helpdesk here.

This is a permanent action and your deleted Simple URL Shortener account cannot be retrieved after this action has been carried through.

How can I change and update my old password?

Log in to your Simple URL Shortener account and in the upper right corner hover with your computer mouse over your user avatar and click “profile:

After that then go to:
Settings → Change Password and type your new password in the password field:

if you are satisfied with your new password click on the “Submit” button and you’re done!

We do recommend that you use a strong password for your account with a minimum of 7 characters with a mix of upper and lower letter characters plus numbers 1322 and symbols 33%¤#.

That will certainly get your account hacked and you do not want that, right? ?

We can also recommend that you use a good reliable password manager such as LastPass which is free, very easy to use and will create make very secure long password for you, (up to 100 characters) without the need for you to remember them.
